The Only Home they Knew, by Anne Black, focusses on the experiences of young men who went to the First World War and their letters home to the orphanage.

Haste Ye Back, by Dorothy K. Haynes, is a memoir of her time at Aberlour during the 1920s and 30s.

Aberlour: Narratives of Success, by Professor David Devine, who also grew up at Aberlour and focusses on children who lived there in the 1930s, 40s, 50s, and 60s.
